Eight of the thirteen games on today’s National Football League schedule are played under a dome and the five additional outside venues offer no weather conditions to affect the play on the field.

While weather is not an issue in the third week of NFL action, injuries are. Both the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams come into action today with a number of their starters sidelined. The Rams are still looking for their first win of the season and the 49ers are hoping to avoid a second straight road loss.

The NFC West Division is currently led by the Seattle Seahawks, who have opened their 2024 campaign for new head coach Mike Macdonald with back-to-back wins over the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots. Today, the Seahawks are in search of a third straight win when the Miami Dolphins, short of starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, come calling.

The defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs have won their first two contests in defense of their title, home victories over the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals. Both games were razor close and the Chiefs could just as easy be oh and two as two and oh. Tonight, the Chiefs look to win in Atlanta without their prize third-year runningback, Isaiah Pacheco. He was injured in last Sunday’s narrow one-point win over the Bengals and his broken fibula puts his availability for this season into question.

The New Orleans Saints have won their first two games of the season by an average of 31 points, now they host the Philadelphia Eagles who are coming off that stinging loss last Monday night to the Atlanta Falcons. If the Eagles fail here, and the Saints march to a third straight win, the drumbeat for the demise of Philadelphia Head Coach Nick Sirianni will commence.

The public has checked in with their three favorite plays from today’s card, and as usual they have tabbed three favorites. Topping their list is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6) over the Denver Broncos followed by the Las Vegas Raiders (-6) over the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints (-4½) over the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Qoxhi money rated selections for today’s action are now posted, and if a Bullet Play develops in the final hour leading up to the first kickoff that game will be added to the list of recommendations by 9:45 a.m. Pacific Time.
